This website is the home for the book,
Advanced AmiBroker,
by Dr. Howard Bandy

The book discusses advanced techniques for use of the AmiBroker trading system development platform.

Advanced AmiBroker is being written now, and steady progress is being made on it.
While writing over the past year, I realized that the range of material I was intending to cover was too broad to be covered in a single book.
The portion related to programming AmiBroker will be included in Advanced AmiBroker.
The portion related to analysis of trading system performance has been moved to the new book, Modeling Trading System Performance,
which has been published.
Since the writing project is one of several on-going projects, completion date for the book depends on the amount of time available to work on it.
As of October 2011, release date for Advanced AmiBroker cannot be determined.

A more precise date will be posted after the writing has been completed and the book goes on to the editors and printer. Advance orders will not be taken until the book has gone to the printer.

The book is an extension of Introduction to AmiBroker and Quantitative Trading Systems. Tentative contents include chapters on:

Most of the material in Advanced AmiBroker will be new (in terms of books published by Blue Owl Press).
There will be a small (10 to 15%) overlap between Advanced AmiBroker and Introduction to AmiBroker.
There will also be a small (10 to 15%) overlap between Advanced AmiBroker and Quantitative Trading Systems.
